The Work will be conducted within multiple jurisdictions. The Contractor shall comply with the specific <br /> requirements of each agency, as described in the Plans and specified in these Special Provisions. <br /> 8-20.1(1) Regulations and Code <br /> Section 8-20.1 (1) is supplemented with the following. <br /> All work within the city limits of the City of Bothell and the City of Everett, including work performed in <br /> conjunction with the following bid items: <br /> (City of Bothell) <br /> "SR 527 at 208th Street SE (SR 524) Temporary Traffic Signal System, Complete." <br /> "SR 527 at 208th Street SE (SR 524) Traffic Signal Modifications, Complete." <br /> (City of Everett) <br /> "Airport Road at SR 99 (Evergreen Way) Traffic Signal Modifications, Complete." <br /> "Airport Road at 112th Street SW Traffic Signal Modifications, Complete." <br /> "Airport Road at Kasch Park Road Traffic Signal Modifications, Complete." <br /> "Airport Road BAT Lane Illumination System, Complete" <br /> shall be subject to the following additional Electrical Inspection requirements: <br /> Electrical Inspection <br /> The Department of Labor and Industries' Electrical Inspector shall inspect and approve the electrical portions of <br /> the project. Before work begins, the Contractor shall contact the Department of Labor and Industries Electrical <br /> Inspector at (425)290-1310 to coordinate a schedule of electrical inspection. Work shall be done in accordance with <br /> WAC 296-46B-010. This project shall conform to the current adopted version of the NEC. When electrical <br /> inspection of work is required, the Contractor shall notify the Electrical Inspector at least two days in advance. The <br /> Electrical Inspector's inspection and approval of all electrical work is required before final acceptance of the <br /> project. <br /> Since these signal(s) are being constructed on public right-of-way and will be operated and maintained by <br /> Snohomish County (on behalf of the Cities of Bothell and Everett), a Snohomish County Traffic Signal Electrician <br /> will be required to inspect and approve electrical portions of the project. <br /> Final inspection and approval is required before the Contract can be completed. The Contractor shall contact the <br /> Snohomish County Signal Maintenance Supervisor at (425)388-7551 a minimum of two (2) calendar days in <br /> advance of the agreed upon points where electrical inspection is required, and give written notice to the Engineer. <br /> 8-20.2 Materials <br /> Section 8-20.2(1)is revised as follows: <br /> Delete "If required to do so," in the first sentence of the second paragraph. <br /> 3 <br /> Swift II BRT Boeing to Canyon Park Station—Traffic Signal 90%Special Provisions-12/1/2016 <br />
