Supplemental Project Specific Criteria QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CONTRACTOR FIRM A. Criterion: Community Transit will accept bids only from qualified contractors whose firm has the ability to meet the specifications of this project and have a high probability of successfully completing the project on time and on budget. This section provides basic detail by which Bidders' capabilities will be compared. In evaluating whether or not a Bidder is qualified for this project, the Bidder will demonstrate its understanding of and approach to this project in the following subject areas: • Project Management; • Safety Record and Construction-related fatalities; • Use of Skilled Personnel and Professional Engineers; • Management of Schedule, Submittal Process, Change Orders, Close-Out and Extended Warranties; • Managing Road Construction on a busy roadway, including staging, access management, phasing,ADA accessibility, and traffic control ; • Coordination of Work with Adjacent Property Owners; • Coordination of Work with Existing and Adjacent Utilities; • Coordinating with multiple jurisdictions, including Community Transit; • Any previous claims against Community Transit; • Any lawsuits concerning projects worked on where you were named and disposition of the case. B. Documentation: The Bidder shall submit a written statement indicating understanding and approach to each subject area listed above. For the purposes of meeting this criterion, Community Transit has determined that acceptable written responses will address each subject area with enough detail that it can reasonably be evaluated. The Bidder's written understanding of and approach to each subject area will be evaluated as to whether or not it meets the requirement in that area. Submit the following information for each subject area listed above. • List your Firm's Name and Primary Contact information; • Statement or Outline indicating the Firms'typical use of Skilled Personnel and Professional Engineers in the Project Management Plan; • Statement discussing Firm's Safety Record over the past 10 years.
