Payment for this item will be made on a prorated monthly basis for work completed in <br /> accordance with this section up to 75% of the lump sum bid. The final 25% of the lump sum <br /> item will be paid upon submittal and approval of the completed Record Drawings set <br /> prepared in conformance with these Special Provisions. <br /> A minimum bid amount has been entered in the Bid Proposal for this item. The Contractor <br /> must bid at least that amount. <br /> Add the following new section: <br /> 1-05.19 Construction Management Software NEW <br /> Community Transit will use the E-Builder©document management system for this <br /> project. Contractor shall also use this web-based system throughout the project for <br /> submittal and tracking of all documents including, but not limited to: Requests for <br /> Information, Requests for Change, Submittals and general project correspondence. <br /> Community Transit will provide one (1) user license for the Contractor for a two-year <br /> duration.Additional user licenses are available for purchase if Contractor desires to add <br /> additional users. Contractor shall become familiar with the E-Builder°system prior to the <br /> Pre-Construction Meeting. Community Transit will neither be responsible for the costs <br /> associated with training, nor for any additional costs that may be incurred by the <br /> Contractor for this system as a result of incorporating the E-Builder©forms and tools into <br /> its project management processes. Information about E-Builder©can be found at www.e- <br /> builder.net <br /> Add the following new section: <br /> 1-05.20 Field Office Building(s) NEW <br /> Contractor shall furnish and set-up a temporary Field Office Building or separate office <br /> space for the sole use of Community Transit. In addition, the Contractor shall furnish <br /> and set-up a temporary Field Office Building or separate space to hold Weekly Project <br /> Meetings and other project meetings. This meeting space may share part of the <br /> Contractor's Field Office. <br /> The Community Transit Field Office Building or space shall be: <br /> 1. Separate and isolated from the Contractor's Field Office. <br /> 2. Dimensions:Approximately 20' interior box length, 8' interior box width, T interior <br /> ceiling. <br /> 3. Interior: paneled walls, finished ceiling, and vinyl or tile floors. <br /> 4. Exterior: weather-tight with insulated roof, walls, and floor. Building shall be well <br /> supported and installed plumb and level. <br /> 5. Electric: ceiling lights to provide adequate light levels for reading, a minimum of two <br /> (2) 110V duplex receptacles, with breaker panel. <br /> 6. Window, Door, and Steps: one operative window with security bars or similar theft <br /> deterrent covering, one standard exterior man door with cylinder door lock and six <br /> keys, and exterior steps for door access, if applicable. <br /> 7. Heating and Air Conditioning:AC with baseboard heat or similar equipment with <br /> adequate capacity to maintain typical in-door office temperatures. <br /> Swift Green Line—Corridor Stations Special Provisions SP28 <br /> May 2017 <br />
