Rule 171 Applies to this Project <br /> Use tax must be included in the bid price and not added as a separate item, per WAC 458- <br /> 20-171. WAC 458-20-171 (Washington Public Road Construction Classification) is in effect <br /> and applies to 100% of this project. <br /> 1-07.5 Environmental Regulations <br /> Section 1-07.5 is supplemented with the following: <br /> (September 20, 2010 WSDOT GSP) <br /> Environmental Commitments <br /> The following Provisions summarize the requirements, in addition to those required <br /> elsewhere in the Contract, imposed upon the Contracting Agency by the various documents <br /> referenced in the Special Provision PERMITS AND LICENSES. Throughout the work, the <br /> Contractor shall comply with the following requirements: <br /> (August 3, 2009 WSDOT GSP) <br /> The Contractor shall notify the Engineer a minimum of*** 5 ***calendar days prior to <br /> commencing any work in environmentally sensitive areas, mitigation areas, and wetland <br /> buffers. Installation of construction fencing is excluded from this notice requirement. At <br /> the time of notification, the Contractor shall submit a work plan for review and approval <br /> detailing how the work will be performed. Plan detail must be sufficient to verify that work <br /> is in conformance with all contract provisions. <br /> (August 3, 2009 WSDOT GSP) <br /> The intentional bypass of stormwater from all or any portion of a stormwater treatment <br /> system is prohibited without the approval of the Engineer. <br /> (December 2016 CT GSP) <br /> No Contractor storage of materials except for same day use will be allowed within 100 <br /> feet of environmentally sensitive areas, mitigation areas, and wetland buffers. <br /> Section 1-07.5 is supplemented with the following: <br /> Inadvertent Discovery Plan NEW <br /> The Contractor shall submit a written notification to the Engineer no later than 10 <br /> calendar days prior to beginning any ground disturbing activities on the project. <br /> Community Transit will notify tribal representatives of the project schedule if specifically <br /> requested; notifications will be made at least a week before construction begins. Project <br /> Archaeologist will attend pre-construction meeting to provide a brief orientation regarding <br /> the Inadvertent Discovery Plan (IDP)for the project. A copy of the IDP is available for <br /> review at Community Transit. <br /> Payment <br /> (August 3, 2009 WSDOT GSP) <br /> All costs to comply with this special provision for the environmental commitments and <br /> requirements are incidental to the contract and are the responsibility of the Contractor. <br /> The Contractor shall include all related costs in the associated bid prices of the contract. <br /> Swift Green L.ine—Corridor Stations Special Provisions SP41 <br /> May 2017 <br />
