1-013 PROSECUTION AND PROGRESS <br /> Add the following new section: <br /> 1-08.0 Preliminary Matters <br /> (May 25, 2006 APWA GSP) <br /> Addl the following new section: <br /> 1-08.0(1) Preconstruction Conference <br /> (October 10, 2008 APWA GSP) <br /> Prior to the Contractor beginning the work, a preconstruction conference will be held <br /> between the Contractor, the Engineer and such other interested parties as may be invited. <br /> The purpose of the preconstruction conference will be: <br /> 1. To review the initial progress schedule; <br /> 2. To establish a working understanding among the various parties associated or affected <br /> by the work; <br /> 3. To establish and review procedures for progress payment, notifications, approvals, <br /> submittals, etc.; <br /> 4. To confirm working hours for the work; <br /> 5. To review safety standards and traffic control; and <br /> 6. To discuss such other related items as may be pertinent to the work. <br /> The Contractor shall prepare and submit at the preconstruction conference the following: <br /> 1. A breakdown of all lump sum items; <br /> 2. A preliminary schedule of working drawing submittals; and <br /> 3. A list of material sources for approval if applicable. <br /> Add the following new section: <br /> 1-08.0(2) Hours of Work <br /> Contractor shall submit a proposed schedule of working hours prior to the preconstruction <br /> conference. The working hours for the Contract shall be established at or prior to the <br /> preconstruction conference. <br /> If the Contractor wishes to deviate from the established working hours, the Contractor shall <br /> submit a written request to the Engineer for consideration. This request shall state what <br /> hours are being requested, and why. Requests shall be submitted for review no later than 5 <br /> calendar days prior to the day(s) the Contractor is requesting to change the hours. <br /> Swift Green Line—Corridor Stations Special Provisions SP55 <br /> May 2017 <br />
