The <br /> Contractor shall submit a certification of the TCS's experience with the TCS designation. <br /> Documentation of experience shall be available upon request by the Project Engineer. <br /> 1-10.2(2) Traffic Control Plans <br /> Section 1-10.2(2) is supplemented with the following: <br /> Traffic Control Plans have been included in Appendix#C-6 which show typical methods of <br /> handling traffic control for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic. The Contractor shall submit <br /> site specific traffic control plans showing the proposed method(s) of handling vehicle, <br /> bicycle, and pedestrian traffic for review and approval by the applicable jurisdiction(s) <br /> within fifteen (15) calendar days of Notice-to-Proceed. Submittal and approval of the <br /> Contractor's Traffic Control Plans to the applicable jurisdiction(s) is required prior to <br /> jurisdiction's permit issuance. <br /> Prior to implementing approved traffic control plans with lane closures, the Contractor shall <br /> provide written notification to the Engineer and the applicable jurisdiction(s) a minimum of five <br /> business days prior to any closures. Allowable lane closures and hour limitations are included in <br /> Special Provision Section 1-07.23(1). <br /> General Traffic Control Plan Requirements <br /> In general, traffic control plans for all stages of construction shall include: <br /> 1) All necessary construction signs, flaggers, spotters, uniformed officers, channelization <br /> and other traffic control devices required to support the work. The plans shall conform <br /> to the established standards for plan development as shown in the MUTCD, Part VI <br /> 2) Appropriate details when temporary construction of any of the following is required to <br /> maintain traffic: traffic signals, detour roadways, temporary widening, retaining <br /> structures, drainage, and other miscellaneous construction. <br /> 3) Plans sheets showing all existing traffic control devices to be retained, relocated, or <br /> removed and all temporary traffic control devices to be installed, retained, relocated, or <br /> removed. <br /> Swift Green Line—Corridor Stations Special Provisions SP66 <br /> May 2017 <br />
