CONSTRUCTION TOLERANCES Place geofoam blocks to the lines and grades shown on the plans and working drawings to a tolerance of 1 inch of the indicated grade Place blocks such that there are no gaps larger than one-half inch in the vertical joints. ACCEPTANCE Furnish a production certification for the geofoam and submit to the Engineer for review. 6-11.4 Measurement This section is supplemented with the following: Reinforced concrete Retaining Wall No. XX, and Reinforced concrete Retaining Wall with Geofoam Fill No. 16 shall be measured per square foot of wall face, measured in the vertical plane from the bottom of wall to the top of wall. 6-111.5 Payment This section is supplemented with the following: Payment will be made in accordance with Section 1-04.1 for the following bid item(s): "Reinforced Concrete Retaining Wall No. XX", per square foot, where XX represents the retaining wall number indicated on the plans. "Reinforced concrete Retaining Wall with Geofoam Fill No. 16", per square foot. The unit contract bid price(s), including all incidental work, shall be full compensation for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the work as defined in the Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions. Structural Excavation Class A including haul, foundation preparation, footing, drain, geotextile, grout or concrete, reinforcing steel, and gravel backfill for wall shall be considered incidental to and included in the contract unit price of related wall, and no separate payment will be made. Furnishing and installing geofoam and geomembrane for Wall 16 as shown on the Plans and described in this Section shall be considered incidental to and included in the contract unit price of related wall, and no separate payment will be made.
