DIVISION 7 <br /> DRAINAGE STRUCTURES, STORM SEWERS, <br /> SANITARY SEWERS, WATER MAINS, AND CONDUITS <br /> 7-01 DRAINS <br /> 7-01.5 Payment <br /> Section 7-01.5 is supplemented with the following: <br /> Drain pipe elbows, fittings, and connection to shelter downspout shall be considered incidental <br /> to "Drain Pipe_In. Diam", per linear foot and no separate payment will be made. <br /> 7-04 STORM SEWERS <br /> 7-04.2 Materials <br /> Section 7-04.2 is supplemented with the following: <br /> Ductile Iron Storm Sewer Pipe 9-05.13 <br /> 7-04.3 Construction Requirements <br /> Section 7-04.3 is supplemented with the following: <br /> Trenches shall receive a temporary trench patch at the end of each working day to ensure the <br /> safety of the public. Temporary Trench Patch may be cold mix for up to 3 days; after 3 days the <br /> cold mix must be replaced with the permanent HMA trench patch. Furnishing, placing, <br /> removing, and disposing of cold patch shall be considered incidental to unit bid prices for storm <br /> drainage items. <br /> 7-04.3(2) Utility Clearances <br /> Section 7-04.3(2) is added: <br /> An Ethafoam pad is required for installations where other utilities are closer than 12-inches to <br /> provide additional protection between the adjacent utilities. The size of the pad shall be based <br /> on the outside diameter(O.D.) of the larger crossing pipe. The pad shall be O.D. long by O.D. <br /> wide by 2.5 inches thick minimum or as required to protect the pipes. The pad shall be a strong, <br /> resilient, medium-density, closed-cell, polyethylene foam plank(Dow Ethafoam 220, or accepted <br /> equivalent.) <br /> 7-04.5 Payment <br /> Section 7-04.5 is supplemented with the following: <br /> "Ductile Iron Storm Sewer Pipe, _In. Diam.", per linear foot. <br /> The unit contract prices for storm sewer pipe regardless of material type shall be full pay for all <br /> work to complete the installation, including but not limited to: potholing at utility crossings, <br /> dewatering; trench excavating, hauling and disposing of debris and unused materials; <br /> furnishing, placing, compacting, and testing bedding and backfill material; furnishing, laying, <br /> restraining, and cleaning pipe and fittings; furnishing and placing foam pads and other methods <br /> Swift Green Line—Corridor Stations Special Provisions SP92 <br /> May 2017 <br />
