Warranty period begins at date of Substantial Completion. Platform graphic images <br /> shall withstand pressure washing at a frequency of twice per month. <br /> 8-30.3 Construction Requirements <br /> Station Shelter Foundations <br /> A. Submit Shop Drawings: Include details of steel reinforcement placement including <br /> material, grade, bar schedules, stirrup spacing, bent bar diagrams and schedules, <br /> arrangement, and supports. Shop drawings shall include elevations of foundations <br /> indicating reinforcing placement, spacing and minimum splicing requirements where <br /> applicable. <br /> B. Equipment Bases and Foundations: Provide equipment bases and foundations as <br /> shown on Plans. Set anchor bolts for equipment at correct elevations, complying with <br /> diagrams or templates of manufacturer furnishing equipment. <br /> C. Shelter Column Foundations: In order to use interchangeable shelter columns, all shelter <br /> column footings for each station shall be set at the same top elevation unless noted <br /> otherwise on the drawings. When the platform concrete paving is performed, column <br /> installation openings shall be provided as shown on the drawings to provide for column <br /> installation after completion of the platform pour. Once columns and the connecting <br /> beam have been installed, the closure pour at each column can be made. <br /> ANCHOR BOLTS <br /> 1. Contractor shall furnish and install anchor bolts of the type and size specified in the <br /> Plans. Drill and epoxy anchor bolts in accordance with the Plans. <br /> 2. Anchor bolt inspection and approval is required by the Jurisdictions prior to closure pour. <br /> Refer to building permits for additional information. <br /> Station Platform and Platform Ramps <br /> A. Nonslip Broom Finish: Immediately after float finishing, slightly roughen trafficked <br /> surface by brooming with fiber-bristle broom perpendicular to main traffic route.
