B. Contractor shall install power conduit and pull wiring from the station to the service <br /> connection as shown in the plans including leaving sufficient excess wiring at the service <br /> connection. The power service provider, Snohomish County PUD, will be responsible for <br /> the service connection at the location shown in the plans. <br /> C. Power service conduit runs shall not exceed 270 degrees in bends without using a junction <br /> box. <br /> MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS MANUALS <br /> Provide one bound set of Operation and Maintenance Manuals including maintenance <br /> information and parts list furnished by the manufacturer with the equipment, together with <br /> supplementary drawings where necessary to itemize serving and maintenance points. Include <br /> periodic maintenance, methods of operation, seasonal requirements, manufacturer's data and <br /> warranty forms. Provide address and 24-hour phone number of firm responsible under warranty. <br /> Items requiring service or correction during the warranty period shall be serviced within 24- <br /> hours of notification by Owner. Data in manuals shall be neat, clean copies and posted on 8-W <br /> x 11" sheets, typed, operation and maintenance instructions for each item of equipment <br /> installed. Drawings shall be accordion folded. An index shall be provided with all contents listed <br /> in an orderly presentation according to Specification Section. <br /> INSTRUCTION PERIODS FOR OWNER'S PERSONNEL <br /> A. Scope: Following installation of work, have representatives of installation tradesmen <br /> conduct demonstrations and instruction periods to point out locations of servicing points <br /> and required points of maintenance to Owner's Representative. <br /> B. General Description Of Instruction Periods: Each period shall include preliminary <br /> discussion, and presentation of information from maintenance manuals with appropriate <br /> references to Drawings; followed by tours of building areas explaining maintenance <br /> requirements, access methods, servicing and maintenance procedures, and equipment <br /> cleaning procedures, control settings and available adjustments. <br /> C. Scheduling Of Instruction Periods: Notice of Contractor's readiness to conduct such <br /> instruction and demonstration shall be given to the Owner's Representative at least two- <br /> weeks prior to the instruction periods, and agreement reached as to the date at which the <br /> instruction periods are to be performed. Obtain approvals of proposed date prior to making <br /> final arrangements. <br /> 8-32.4 Measurement <br /> Conduit Pipe 3-In. Diam. for Shelter Power and Driver Restroom will be <br /> measured per linear foot. <br /> Conduit Pipe 3-In. Diam. for Shelter Power will be measured per linear foot. <br /> Conduit Pipe 3-In. Diam. for Future Communication will be measured per linear <br /> foot. <br /> Directional Drill Conduit Pipe 3-In.
