The slip-resistant lid shall be identified with <br /> permanent marking on the underside indicating the type of surface treatment ("M1" for <br /> Mebac#1; or "S3" for SIipNOT Grade 3-coarse) and the year manufactured. The permanent <br /> marking shall be 1/8 inch line thickness formed with a stainless steel weld bead. <br /> A one-foot wide by one-foot deep rectangular concrete collar shall be installed around the <br /> perimeter of each new Type 1 and Type 2 junction box installed in grade as part of a permanent <br /> installation. The exposed portions shall be formed to have a neat appearance. The tope edges <br /> shall have 3/-inch chamfer on the top edge of the foundation.
