Each circuit shall be rated at 15 amperes and switching shall occur at the zero crossover point <br /> of the AC voltage. The voltage range shall be 95 to 135 volts AC. The nominal voltage shall be <br /> 120 volts AC. The operating frequency range shall be 60 Hz ±3.0 Hz. The two-circuit solid- <br /> state flasher shall be designed to operate as specified at any ambient temperature range from - <br /> 30°F. to +165°F. (-34.4°C. to +73.8°C). <br /> Cabinet <br /> The raintight housing shall be aluminum, conforming to the requirements of Section 9-29.25 and <br /> this Special Provision. Cabinet dimensions shall be: <br /> Depth Height Width <br /> 6 inches 10 inches 8 inches <br /> The cabinet door shall have two hinges. The hinges shall meet the requirements for the <br /> alternate hinge detailed on Standard Plan J-3b. The cabinet door shall be secured with a <br /> spring-loaded construction core lock capable of accepting a Best CX series core. A green <br /> construction core shall be installed at each core lock. Upon contract completion two master <br /> keys for each cabinet shall be delivered to the Engineer. Socket bases for the flasher unit shall <br /> be mounted on a circuit board inside the cabinet. <br /> 9-29.16 Vehicular Signal Heads, Displays and Housing <br /> Section 9-29.16 is supplemented with the following: <br /> 9-29.16 Back Plate <br /> Back plates shall be constructed of louvered anodized aluminum. <br /> 9-29.16 Fiber Optic Signal Head <br /> A 12-inch fiber optic signal section capable of alternately displaying a yellow arrow and a green <br /> arrow shall be furnished and installed where specified in the Plans. <br /> 9-29.16(2) Conventional Traffic Signal Heads <br /> 9-29.16(2)A Optical Units <br /> 9-29.16(2)A <br /> Section 9-29.16(2)A is supplemented with the following: <br /> 9-29.16(2)A LED Signal Displays <br /> All traffic signal displays shall be the Light Emitting Diode (LED) type and shall be from one of <br /> the following manufacturers: <br /> Dialight Corporation <br /> 1913 Atlantic Avenue <br /> Manasquan, NJ 08736 <br /> Telephone: (732) 223-9400 <br /> Fax: (732) 223-8788 <br /> Swift Green Line—Corridor Stations Special Provisions SP213 <br /> May 2017 <br />
