Meeting Minutes I
August 95, 2096 Page 2/
• Comcast and Frontier have agreed to meet out in the field with CT/Otak to coordinate
and identify existing utilities at all stations. UPDATE—Meeting was held on September
28th
• CT/Otak will meet with AWWD to coordinate utility relocation and design. Date is
TBD.
• CT/Otak will meet with SLWSD to coordinate utility relocation and design. Date is
IBD.
3) 128th St Improvements at I-5
• AWWD has concerns regarding the cast iron water main that runs along 128th Street
both east and west of I-5.
o Major concern includes rupture of aging(brittle) cast iron pipe after or
during construction of the proposed improvements. Paul Richard and Dan
Schen have proposed replacement of the existing system concurrently with
the 128th Street Improvements project.
o The contractor will install the new water facilities systems by AWWD
standards, and will require contracts and negotiation. AWWD will pay for the
cost of design and construction of the water line replacement and will be
inspecting the work.
• PSE Gas shows existing gas main to the north not shown in survey. Gas line crosses at
approximately station 101+10 going north, and turns eastward until heading north again
up the right lane of 4`"Ave W. Existence of gas main does not impact the proposed
improvements. Otak Survey will add gas main to the basemap.
• PSE Gas has requested additional potholing, located at station STA 103+67, 70' RT.
4) SB SR 527 at SR 524/208`St SE
• Station#3051 -PSE Gas has requested additional potholing at station 12+86,5'LT.
This gas service crosses proposed storm drainage pipe.
5) 132nd St SE at 16th Ave SE
• Station#3045 - SLWSD has proposed rerouting the existing sanitary sewer main at SB
132"d and 16th either in front of or behind the proposed Swi t shelter for maintenance
accessibility. Rick Gilmore and Ron Beyer will discuss further with CT/Otak during a
separate coordination meeting with SLWSD.
6) SR 527 at 164th St SE
• Station#3048—8" conc. sewer line heading out NW (IE=269.32) of 48"manhole
(RIM=287.12) believed to be in a casing which will influence relocation design. Otak and
AWWD will meet to discuss proposed options for design.
K:\project\32100\32130T\Admin\Meetings\Utility Coordination\16_0915-Utility Coordination Meeting Minutes.doc
