The property is owned by Steve Will4R, and I believe he is most likely operatinj,IL Us a residence for disabled persons
living as a family and not as an approved Rooming House.
Let's talk about how to move ahead, but I suggest I contact the owner and seek inspection with Ted de Budden to assess
code compliance.
From: Inci Yarkut
Sent: Wednesday, April 26, 20177:28 AM
To: Donald Cunningham
Subject: 2812 Everett Avenue
Hi Don!
I recently assisted with placing a client in a clean and sober residence at 2812 Everett Ave., which is a two-story
house. There are currently eight people housed there, including my client.
I would like to bring to your attention some concerns I noted while at the property.
I noticed that the baseboard heater in my client's room was not working. Further inspection noted that, apparently,
many of the baseboard heaters in the residents' rooms were inoperable. There does not appear to be an alternate main
heat source, as some were using plug-in space heaters.
I also noticed missing handrails from portions of the stairways, which could pose a problem for my client as he has a
prosthetic leg.
My concern is for my client's safety and, therefore, hope the structure meets code requirements.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
Inci
Officer Inci Yarkut,#1411
COET—Community Outreach and Enforcement Team
Everett Police Department
3002 Wetmore Ave.
Everett, WA 98201
Cell-(425)471-2980
Desk-(425)257-8491
2 / rj,
