Revisions are necessary <br /> before a permit can be issued. Please provide a response letter with two sets of revised drawings, with <br /> areas of revisions clouded on the drawings. Plan review will resume when the requested information is <br /> submitted and sufficient detail and information is shown to ensure that the proposed structures will be <br /> constructed in compliance with all adopted codes. Additional revisions may be required for structural <br /> comments, or by Public Works, Utilities, Planning, or Fire departments. <br /> Please provide two sets of replacement sheets for revisions, to slip-sheet at the counter. If revisions are <br /> coming directly from the blue-printer, please make arrangements with them to print two replacement <br /> sets. <br /> General <br /> 1. The method of compliance with the IEBC should be identified in the project data code analysis, to <br /> include whether it is prescriptive, work area, or performance compliance. Please identify if the <br /> work is Level III alterations, to include whether the ceiling is remaining, light fixtures are being <br /> added or replaced, quantities, etc. <br /> 2. There are also several forms for energy compliance which address scope of new work to <br /> determine level of compliance required by WSEC chapter 5. Please submit these forms, as <br /> referenced on the TI checklist: https://everettwa.gov/DocumentCenter/Home/View/119 <br /> Occupancy <br /> 1. Motor-vehicle occupancy would typically be S-2 not S-1, per IBC section 311.3. <br /> 2. Please identify the occupancy of the basement level. <br /> 3. There are special provisions in IBC Section 406 which apply to motor-vehicle related occupancies, <br /> to include occupancy separation. Please identify in the code analysis if this will be a non- <br /> separated occupancy, per IBC section 508.3. <br /> 4. Please identify if there will be voluntary compliance with the electrical vehicle charging <br /> infrastructure in Washington State amendment IBC 427, for the rental vehicles parking spaces. <br /> 5.
