GeoDesign <br /> previously prepared a geotechnical report for this project' that summarized the site conditions <br /> and provided our geotechnical recommendations. We received a set of building construction <br /> plans for the project that were prepared by Core Design and dated July 201 5. <br /> Members of our geotechnical staff visited the site on a periodic basis between May 2015 and <br /> October 2016 to perform the following tasks: <br /> • Observe the placement of structural fill and evaluate the compaction of the fill byconducting <br /> in situ density and moisture content measurements and by observing proof rolling. <br /> • Observe the placement of surcharge material and install settlement markers. <br /> • Monitor the surcharge settlement. <br /> • Evaluate the compaction of the building subgrade by conducting in situ density and moisture <br /> content measurements, hand probing, and by observing proof rolling. <br /> • Evaluate the compaction of the base rock beneath the building. <br /> 'GeoDesign,Inc.,2017.
