ii___. EVERETT
WASHINGTON
served by Teen Retail is allocated funds to be used for school clothing and nothing else. ALE
buys the gift cards from Fred Meyer at a discount, and students receive further discounts when
they do their shopping. ALE volunteers are always on hand to help with the shopping to ensure
that only clothing appropriate for school is purchased. Our volunteers also pay for the clothing
with the gift cards at checkout so there is full accountability for funders. Last year Teen Retail
served 994 Snohomish County students in Snohomish County.
The City of Everett receives a far higher level of service through OSB when compared with other areas of the
County. CDBG funds will provide new school clothing for low-income students within the City of Everett through
partnerships with the following schools:
• ACES Alternative High School
• Cascade High School
• Challenger Elementary School
• Eisenhower Middle School
• Emerson Elementary School
• Everett Community College Early Childhood Education Program
• Everett High School
• Evergreen Middle School
• Explorer Middle School
• Fairmont Elementary School
• Garfield Elementary School
• Hawthorn Elementary School
• Horizon Elementary School
• Jackson Elementary School
• James Monroe Elementary School
• Lowell Elementary School
• Madison Elementary School
• North Middle School
• Olivia Park Elementary School
• Sequoia High School
• Silver Lake Elementary School
• View Ridge Elementary School
• Whittier Elementary School
2019 Human Needs Contract Page 8
