Field drains shall be slot type,pattern B,and shall be approximately 3mm in width,and 22mm in length. C. Pipe shall be bedded in clean washed pea gravel. D. Pipe listed in this section is for contractors need for replacement on contractors' options 111 for drainage renovation or to repair laterals where new collectors are installed. 2.03 CLEAN OUTS A. Clean out shall not be installed with this project. B. Clean out can be achieved from all catch basins installed within the project. 2.04 COLLECTOR AND LATERAL DRAIN LINE BACKFILL MATERIALS I A. Shall be clean,washed pea gravel for all lateral field drain lines. B. Materials shall meet the following sieve 1 1/z' 95%-100% 3/8" 90%-95% 35%-40% 4 MESH 2%-10% 8 MESH 0%-2% I 2.05 METALIC LOCATOR TAPE A. Shall be used on all cleanout and cap ends of underdrain pipes. Tape to be solid 1 aluminum foil core laminated between 2 mil clear film layers. Tape to be green in color from Peo-line or approved equal. PART 3—EXECUTION 3.01 EARTHWORK A. Excavation,bedding,and backfilling shall be in accordance with Standard Specification Section Excavation and Fill and as further specified herein. All earthwork to be with a LGP laser controlled,fully automated dozer. All soils to be removed from site prior to installation of drains. Contact Landscape Architect for inspection of all drain excavation prior to installation of any pipe. 3.02 SURVEYS t A. All location,grade control,and other surveying work required for construction will be performed by means of a laser to assure accuracy.
