Existing lateral drainline trenches that are to be renovated shall be located and <br /> then old materials removed from trenches, and new clear aggregate installed to <br /> the new subgrade elevations. <br /> 5. Contractor shall exercise extreme care to prevent contamination of drain trench 1 <br /> tubing and caving in or other damage to the edges of the drain trenches. Any <br /> damage or contamination that occurs shall be repaired at the Contractor's <br /> expense,to the satisfaction of the Landscape Architect. 1 <br /> 6. Prior to installing and new or replaced drain lines, place the required depth of pea <br /> gravel as shown on the Drawings.
