All vehicle parking areas and facilities shall be provided on the property containing the building except that there may be no parking in the setback areas between the building and abutting public streets. This requirement shall be waived for multiple family structures which may locate all required parking spaces in excess of one (1) per dwelling unit in off-street parking facilities located not more than three hundred (300) feet from the structure. Section 2: Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with, or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this chapter, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars or imprisoned for a term not exceeding thirty days, or both, for each separate offense.
