Section 6: The appointment of all employees in all departments, where required by <br /> City Charter, shall be subject to Civil Service regulations of the City of Everett, <br /> providing in event vacancies occur and there is no eligibility list from which said <br /> vacancy may be filled, temporary appointment may be made of persons without <br /> Civil Service standing. <br /> All persons paid on an hourly basis as hereinafter or herein set forth shall be <br /> considered and be day laborers as defined by the City Charter governing Civil Service. <br /> Section 7: Ordinances No. 117-71 and 166-71 and all ordinances in conflict herewith <br /> of the City of Everett, and all amendments thereto be, and the same are hereby repealed. <br /> Section 8: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall take <br /> effect upon being valid and published. <br /> (V C.......,e____,...._ <br /> __Iii <br /> AT QST: Mayor <br /> 2 <br /> Deputy' City Clerk <br /> Passed: 1/26/72 <br /> Valid: 2/2/72 <br /> Published: 2/7/72 <br />
