1 1 1-07.5(3) State Department of Ecology <br /> 2 This section is revised to read: <br /> 3 <br /> 4 In doing the Work, the Contractor shall: <br /> 5 <br /> 6 1. Comply with Washington State Water Quality Standards. <br /> 111 7 <br /> 8 2. Perform Work in such a manner that all materials and substances not specifically <br /> 9 identified in the Contract documents to be placed in the water do not enter waters <br /> I10 of the State, including wetlands. These include, but are not limited to, petroleum <br /> 11 products, hydraulic fluid, fresh concrete, concrete wastewater, process <br /> 12 wastewater, slurry materials and waste from shaft drilling, sediments, sediment- <br /> !! 13 laden water, chemicals, paint, solvents, or other toxic or deleterious materials. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 3. Use equipment that is free of external petroleum-based products. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 4. Remove accumulations of soil and debris from drive mechanisms (wheels, tracks, <br /> 18 tires) and undercarriage of equipment prior to using equipment below the ordinary <br /> I19 high water line. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 5. Clean loose dirt and debris from all materials placed below the ordinary high water <br /> 22 line. No materials shall be placed below the ordinary high water line without the <br /> I23 Engineer's concurrence. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 6. When a violation of the Construction Stormwater General Permit (CSWGP) <br /> I26 occurs, immediately notify the Engineer and fill out WSDOT Form 422-011, <br /> 27 Contractor ECAP Report, and submit the form to the Engineer within 48 hours of <br /> 28 the violation. <br /> I29 <br /> 30 7. Once Physical Completion has been given, prepare a Notice of Termination <br /> 31 (Ecology Form ECY 020-87) and submit the Notice of Termination electronically to <br /> in 32 the Engineer in a PDF format a minimum of 7 calendar days prior to submitting <br /> 33 the Notice of Termination to Ecology. <br /> 34 <br /> I35 8. Transfer the CSWGP coverage to the Contracting Agency when Physical <br /> 36 Completion has been given and the Engineer has determined that the project site <br /> 37 is not stabilized from erosion. <br /> 38 <br /> I39 9. Submit copies of all correspondence with Ecology electronically to the Engineer in <br /> 40 a PDF format within four calendar days. <br /> 41 <br /> I42 1-07.5(4) Air Quality <br /> 43 This section is revised to read: <br /> 44 <br /> I45 The Contractor shall comply with all regional clean air authority and/or State Department of <br /> 46 Ecology rules and regulations. <br /> 47 <br /> I48 The air quality permit process may include additional State Environment Policy Act (SEPA) <br /> 49 requirements.
