These materials shall be removed by detergent-cleaning <br /> I38 or other method accepted by the Engineer followed by sandblasting. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 After detergent cleaning and sandblasting is completed, the entire lane or strip being <br /> 41 overlaid shall be cleaned in final preparation for placing concrete. <br /> I42 <br /> 43 Hand tool chipping, sandblasting and cleaning in areas adjacent to a lane or strip being <br /> 44 cleaned in final preparation for placing concrete shall be discontinued when final <br /> I45 preparation is begun.
