City of Everett 00 7300 - 1 <br /> 2019 Biosolids Removal UT3705-2 <br /> I <br /> SECTION 00 7300 - SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> ' A. SUMMARY <br /> 1. The following "Special Conditions" shall supplement the General Conditions and <br /> shall become a part of this contract. <br /> B. SUBMITTALS <br /> 1. Prior to mobilization the following submittals shall be submitted to the City for <br /> review and approval. <br /> a. Proposed dewatering agents and the estimated quantity. <br /> b. Contractor's Spill Prevention Plan (See example in Appendix C). <br /> c. Dredging and dewatering work plans. <br /> d. Health and Safety Plan (specific to this project — see example in Section 01 <br /> 3529 section 1.5) <br /> C. PROJECT LOGISTICS <br /> 1. Power and Water Service <br /> a. See Temporary Facilities Section 01 5000 <br /> 2. Parking <br /> a. Contractor parking shall be within the perimeter of the facility and not <br /> interfere with parking for neighboring recreational areas. <br /> 3. Storage and Staging <br /> a. Contractor will be responsible for storage of materials and equipment prior <br /> to commencing the Work. Staging of material and equipment during the <br /> project will be located in designated areas within the perimeter of the <br /> Biosolids Pad and will minimize interference and disruption to plant <br /> operations, other construction activities, or internal plant vehicle traffic. <br /> Available space within the immediate area where work is to be performed <br /> will be available for the contractor to stage material and locate a solid waste <br /> dumpster. <br /> 4. Solid Waste Disposal <br /> a. Contractor shall collect solid waste produced from his/her operations on a <br /> daily basis. <br /> b. Contractor shall provide for disposal of solid waste to approved solid waste <br /> disposal site(s). <br /> 5. Fuel and Chemical Handling <br /> a. Store and dispose of chemical wastes in a manner approved by regulatory <br /> agencies. <br /> b Take special measures to prevent chemicals, fuels, oils, greases, herbicides <br /> and insecticides from entering drainage ways and wastewater treatment <br /> processes. <br /> c. Do not allow water used in onsite material processing, cleanup, and other <br /> waste waters to enter a drainage way or stream.
