111 <br /> City of Everett 01 1100 - 1 <br /> 2019 Biosolids Removal UT3705-2 <br /> I <br /> SECTION 01 1100 - SUMMARY OF WORK <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> 1.1 WORK COVERED BY THIS CONTRACT <br /> A. The City of Everett owns a Water Pollution Control Facility located near Everett WA and <br /> is seeking a Contractor to dredge, dewater and place for storage approximately 2,000 <br /> dry tons of biosolids from Aeration Cell 2. The Water Pollution Control Facility is located <br /> ' at 4027 4th Street Southeast, Everett WA. Contractor is expected to conduct his/her <br /> operations and manage the dewatered biosolids on the City's Biosolids Pad. See <br /> Appendix A for facility location (Site Map). <br /> B. The successful bidder shall be solely responsible for providing all equipment, labor and <br /> supplies necessary to dredge, dewater, and transport the biosolids to the designated <br /> location on the City's Biosolids Pad in accordance with the terms of the Contract. <br /> 1 C. The successful bidder shall keep accurate records of all transactions connected to this <br /> Contract and provide them to the City's representative. This shall include but not be <br /> limited to correspondence, invoices. transaction tickets or receipts issued to the <br /> Contractor. <br /> 1.2 JOB DESCRIPTION <br /> A. The following is a general outline, and is not intended to be a complete listing of the work <br /> to be accomplished nor is it intended to be used to indicate the order the work is to be <br /> completed. All items listed below is a general list of items included in the work and <br /> should be verified prior to bidding. The Work includes but is not limited to the supply and <br /> installation of all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to perform the Work in full. <br /> B. Base Bid includes the following items: <br /> I1. Site mobilization and demobilization. <br /> 2. Making temporary connections to utilities. <br /> 3. Dredging and dewatering up to 2,000 dry tons of biosolids. <br /> 4. Managing dewatered biosolids on site. <br /> 5. Loading, weighing and transporting dewatered biosolids to the designated area on <br /> City's Biosolids Pad. <br /> ' 6. Site cleanup and restoration. <br /> C. Work under the Contract shall also include: <br /> 1. Sampling in a representative manner, storing samples according to sampling <br /> protocols, and submitting samples for analysis as required by Owner. <br /> 1.3 ADDITIONS TO, OR DEDUCTIONS FROM, THE CONTRACT <br /> t <br /> 01 1100 - 1 SUMMARY OF WORK <br />
