City of Everett 01 1100 - 2 <br /> 2019 Biosolids Removal UT3705-2 <br /> A. The authorization of all Additions to, or Deductions from, labor and materials, as called <br /> for in the Contract, shall be given only upon the Owner's printed change order form <br /> bearing the signatures of the Owner, the Contractor, and the Architect/Engineer. <br /> 1.4 CHANGES IN THE WORK <br /> A. Change orders will be calculated based on the provisions in Section 007200. <br /> 1.5 WORK BY OTHERS <br /> A. The Contractor is required to coordinate all their activities with the City's Project <br /> Manager, or his/her designee. The City may have other construction projects in progress <br /> at the WPCF during the duration of this project and it is the Contractor's responsibility to <br /> assure that adequate notice is given to the City's Project Manager regarding equipment <br /> or materials that may need to be relocated in order to perform the work. <br /> 1.6 WORK BY THE OWNER 1 <br /> A. The Owner shall have the right to access the site 24/7 and execute work not included in <br /> this Contract and concurrent with the contract period. Contractor shall cooperate with <br /> such Owner sponsored efforts. <br /> B. Sample testing and analysis required by the Owner under terms of this Contract will be <br /> conducted by the Everett Environmental Laboratory, which is co-located at the WPCF. <br /> All samples required by City will be analyzed at City's expense. <br /> 1.7 SOLIDS ANALYTICAL DATA <br /> A. Provided in Appendix D. Data was taken in 2018 and 2019 per the WPCF's NPDES I <br /> permit from Washington State Department of Ecology. The biosolids have been analyzed <br /> in-situ for pollutants in accordance with 40 CFR 503, for pathogen concentration to meet <br /> reduction targets, and for vector attraction reduction (VAR) as required by coverage <br /> under the General Permit for Biosolids. Each prospective bidder must determine what <br /> evaluations of the in-situ solids characteristics are necessary and shall coordinate with <br /> the City's Project Manager if additional solids information is needed. It is the Contractor's <br /> responsibility to determine how the characteristics of the City's biosolids may influence <br /> the performance and efficiency of their equipment. Solids concentration will vary <br /> horizontally and vertically within the City's Aeration Cells. <br /> 1.8 PERMITS <br /> A. The Contractor shall be responsible to obtain and pay the cost of any applicable permits <br /> and connection fees required to do the Work, and such costs shall be included in the <br /> Bid. , <br /> I <br /> 01 1100 - 2 SUMMARY OF WORK <br />
