Section Includes: Procedures to maintain security including unauthorized entry, <br /> vandalism, and theft to buildings and grounds at Project site. <br /> ' B. Related Sections: <br /> 1. Section 01 3119 - Project Meetings <br /> 2. Section 01 5000 - Temporary Facilities and Controls <br /> 1.2 SECURITY PROGRAM <br /> ' A. Discuss with City, at Preconstruction Meeting specified Section 01 3119, a security <br /> program to prevent unauthorized entry and to protect against other security problems, <br /> including loss due to theft, vandalism, and fire. <br /> B. Arrange with City for access through locked gates as necessary to perform Work of this <br /> Contract. <br /> 1. Contractor is responsible for supplying a keyed padlock to secure the gate at the <br /> Aeration Cells. Contractor will coordinate with City to place lock in the daisy chain <br /> securing this gate. <br /> 2. Contractor will be supplied the current combination to the lock securing the gate <br /> opposite the biosolids processing pad. <br /> C. Establish adequate flood lighting to allow monitoring of Project site during evening <br /> hours. Contractor is responsible to position lighting to avoid glare shining towards <br /> residential areas surrounding the WPCF. <br /> 1 <br /> 1.3 STORAGE AND PROTECTION <br /> A. Provide for secure lockup of stored materials and take additional measures to protect <br /> against theft vandalism, and other loss of property belonging to City located on site and <br /> at off-site facilities. <br /> 1.4 ENTRY CONTROL <br /> ' A. Restrict entrance of unauthorized persons and vehicles into construction areas. <br /> B. Maintain security of construction fencing and gates as approved by City in advance. <br /> Lock at end of each working day. <br /> ' C.
