City of Everett 01 3553 - 1 2019 Biosolids Removal UT3705-2 I SECTION 01 3553 - SECURITY PROCEDURES PART 1 - GENERAL 1.1 SUMMARY ' A. Section Includes: Procedures to maintain security including unauthorized entry, vandalism, and theft to buildings and grounds at Project site. ' B. Related Sections: 1. Section 01 3119 - Project Meetings 2. Section 01 5000 - Temporary Facilities and Controls 1.2 SECURITY PROGRAM ' A. Discuss with City, at Preconstruction Meeting specified Section 01 3119, a security program to prevent unauthorized entry and to protect against other security problems, including loss due to theft, vandalism, and fire. B. Arrange with City for access through locked gates as necessary to perform Work of this Contract. 1. Contractor is responsible for supplying a keyed padlock to secure the gate at the Aeration Cells. Contractor will coordinate with City to place lock in the daisy chain securing this gate. 2. Contractor will be supplied the current combination to the lock securing the gate opposite the biosolids processing pad. C. Establish adequate flood lighting to allow monitoring of Project site during evening hours. Contractor is responsible to position lighting to avoid glare shining towards residential areas surrounding the WPCF. 1 1.3 STORAGE AND PROTECTION A. Provide for secure lockup of stored materials and take additional measures to protect against theft vandalism, and other loss of property belonging to City located on site and at off-site facilities. 1.4 ENTRY CONTROL ' A. Restrict entrance of unauthorized persons and vehicles into construction areas. B. Maintain security of construction fencing and gates as approved by City in advance. Lock at end of each working day.
