Section 2: All persons employed by the City of Everett under the <br /> classifications established by this ordinance shall be considered as appointive <br /> officers under Section 4.4 of the Everett City Charter or day laborers; provided <br /> however that said employees shall be entitled to all salary-related benefits <br /> extended to other employees of the City of Everett, including but not limited to <br /> workmen's compensation, health insurance, vacation, sick leave and retirement. <br /> Salaries and salary-related benefits shall be limited to those salaries and <br /> salary-related benefits approved for reimbursement under contracts entered by the <br /> City pursuant to the Emergency Employment Act, and in no event shall a person <br /> employed pursuant to this ordinance be entitled to salaries or salary-related <br /> benefits which are not subject to reimbursement under the Emergency Employment <br /> Act of 1971 and contracts entered pursuant thereto. <br /> Section 3: The sum of $150,611.00 is hereby appropriated and allocated <br /> out of unanticipated revenues, to the 1971 Budget for the City of Everett, which <br /> shall be in addition to the amount otherwise budgeted for the year 1971, for the <br /> purpose of payment of salaries and salary-related benefits to all employees hired <br /> pursuant to this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this <br /> ordinance shall take effect upon being valid and published. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> oa-Li <br /> C44-------- <br /> , 1 "� MAYOR <br /> D 'J I City Clerk <br /> Passed: - - 1 ! <br /> Valid: i / )- 7 <br /> Published: / U _/ i 7 i <br />
