3. Demolition of a 60,000 square foot portion of the existing 45-02 building. This area <br /> is presently used as office space; and <br /> 4. Removal of modular office buildings described above. There would be a net <br /> reduction of approximately 30,000 square feet of office space approved in the 1991 <br /> Master Plan. <br /> This request is documented in the application materials on file at the Planning/Community <br /> Department. This includes: environmental checklist, site plan and other information. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> The Decision of the City of Everett Imposing Mitigation Pursuant to SEPA on the Expansion of <br /> the Boeing/Everett Airplane Manufacturing Facility("Decision Document")was issued July 3, <br /> 1991,by the City of Everett and revised by City Council Resolution No. 3528, September 18, <br /> 1991. Exhibit 1 of the Decision Document,the Master Development Plan Mitigation Map, <br /> depicts existing buildings,proposed buildings under the 1990 EIS submittal, open space and <br /> areas designated as "vacant for future development." <br /> Existing and proposed buildings are listed in more detail in Tables 2-3 and 2-6 of the Draft EIS. <br /> Structures that are the subject of this addendum include the following: <br /> • The 45-08 building was shown as a 100,000 square foot office building with a 25,000 <br /> square foot footprint and four floors; <br /> • The 45-02 building was shown as a 119,500 square foot existing"field support"building <br /> within a 97,440 square foot footprint; <br /> • The proposed 45-11 (180,000) square foot office building was not shown in the Master <br /> Development Plan Mitigation map,nor was it shown in the schedule of improvements in <br /> the EIS. <br /> • The 45-600,45-640,45-650 are existing modular office buildings in the vicinity of the <br /> existing 45-02 building. <br /> These changes would be minor in nature and would not result in construction of additional <br /> building area above and beyond the 5,600,000 square feet approved by the Decision Document <br /> and EIS. <br /> (2__.//1 <br />
