Task 3 Water System Description <br /> 3.1 Objective <br /> Describe the characteristics of the City's water system. <br /> 3.2 HDR Services <br /> 1. Provide a digital copy of Chapter 1 from the 2007 CWP for the City to mark up with significant <br /> changes to water system facilities. Work with appropriate City staff to review and update each <br /> section of the Water System Description from the 2007 CWP as amended by the 2014 <br /> addendum. The following water system components will be described: <br /> • Authority, ownership, and management <br /> • Service area <br /> • Role in regional planning <br /> • System history <br /> • Source of Supply <br /> • Water Filtration Plant <br /> • Transmission system <br /> • Pump stations <br /> • Storage facilities <br /> • Distribution system <br /> • Overview of pressure zones <br /> • System Interties and wholesale customers <br /> New descriptions of the Water Filtration Plant and portions of the transmission system are being <br /> developed as part of the Water Filtration Plan Facilities Plan. For these facilities, the CWP will <br /> reference these sections of the facilities plan. <br /> 3.3 City Responsibilities <br /> 1. Provide data needed per the data request associated with Task 2. <br /> 2. Provide relevant information from the Water Filtration Plant Facilities Plan, if it is finalized in time <br /> to summarize in the CWP (draft information from the Facilities Plan should not be incorporated in <br /> the CWP as it could be subject to change). <br /> 3. Work with the HDR team to review Water System Description chapter from 2007 CWP as <br /> amended by the 2014 addendum, and provide marked up version that reflects changes since <br /> 2014. <br /> 4. Work with HDR Project Team to resolve questions or missing information. <br /> 5.
