Updated Water Shortage Contingency Plan. <br /> Task 8 Water Rights and Water Source Reliability <br /> 8.1 Objective <br /> Review and update the City's water rights and system reliability analysis. <br /> 8.2 HDR Services <br /> 1. Meet with the City to review the water rights summary table included in the 2014 CWP <br /> Addendum. Use City input to make adjustments as needed to the inventory of existing water <br /> rights. <br /> 2. Use updated water supply requirements from Task 6 to update the self-assessment of <br /> forecasted water right status from the 2014 CWP Addendum. <br /> 3. Update the status of existing or proposed interties reported in the 2007 CWP. <br /> 4. Update the source of supply analysis from the 2007 CWP to determine the adequacy of water <br /> supply available to meet future demands. Describe the City's efforts related to maintaining <br /> adequate sources of supply and demonstrate that the sources of supply are within the amounts <br /> authorized under the City's existing water rights adequacy, and facility reliability. <br /> 5. Update the water source reliability analysis describing existing and/or proposed water system <br /> supply and distribution of the needed water quantities to meet forecast system demands. <br /> Incorporate results of the yield analysis described in Task 9. <br /> 8.3 City Responsibilities <br /> 1. Provide sufficient information regarding existing water rights and pending applications to enable <br /> completion of Tables 3 and 4 in the 1997 DOH Water System Planning Handbook. <br /> 2. Provide information for preparation of the Source Reliability Analysis and Watershed Control <br /> Program. <br /> 8.4 Assumptions <br /> 1. The water rights information from the City's 2014 CWP Addendum is considered to be accurate. <br /> There have been minimal or no changes since it was prepared, so the update will not require <br /> intensive analysis of water rights. <br /> 2. The City will provide updated water rights information with any changes/additions from the 2014 <br /> CWP Addendum. <br /> 3. One meeting will be sufficient with City staff to verify accuracy of City's existing water rights, <br /> including both primary and supplemental water rights. This meeting can be combined with one <br /> Everett Comprehensive Water Plan June 12, 2019 <br /> Exhibit A—Scope of Services Page 11 of 30 <br />
