Section 40 : Statutes adopted. The following 'statutes are hereby <br /> adopted by reference. <br /> RC,W 46 .04 . 410 Pneumatic tires <br /> RCW 46 .04 . 414 Pole trailer <br /> RCW 46 .04 . 416 Private carrier bus <br /> Section 41. 46 .04 .417 Police Chief. "Police chief, " shall be <br /> interchangeable with chief of police and means the chief of police <br /> of the City of Everett. <br /> Section 42 . 46 .04 . 418 Police officer. "Police officer" means <br /> every officer authorized to direct or regulate traffic or to make <br /> arrests for violations of traffic regulations . <br /> Section 43 . Statutes adopted. The following statutes are hereby <br /> adopted by reference . <br /> RCW 46 .04 . 420 Private road or driveway <br /> RCW 46 .04 . 435 Public scale <br /> RCW 46 .04 . 440 Railroad <br /> RCW 46 .04 . 450 Railroad signs or signal <br /> RCW 46 .04 .460 Registered owner <br /> Section 44 . 46 . 04 . 463 Registration number "Registration number" <br /> whenever used in this title shall mean the license number displayed <br /> on the vehicle license number plates attached to the vehicle . <br /> Section 45 . Statutes Adopted. The following statutes are hereby <br /> adopted by reference . <br /> RCW 46 .04 . 470 Residence district <br /> RCW 46 .04.480 Revoke <br /> Section 46 . 46 .04 .484 Right-of-Way. "Right-of-Way" means the <br /> right of one vehicle or pedestrian to proceed in a lawful manner <br /> in preference to another vehicle or pedestrian approaching under <br /> such circumstances of direction, speed and proximity as to give <br /> rise to danger of collision unless one grants precedence to the <br /> other. <br /> Section 47 . Statutes adopted. The following statutes are hereby <br /> adopted by reference . <br /> RCW 46 .04 .490 Road tractor <br /> RCW 46 .04 . 500 Roadway <br /> RCW 46 .04 . 510 Safety zone <br /> RCW 46 .04 .521 School bus <br /> Section 47-A. 46 .04 . 527 School bus zone . "School bus zone" means <br /> a designated portion of the street along the curb reserved for <br /> loading and unloading school buses during designated hours . <br /> Section 47-B. Statutes adopted. The following statutes are hereby <br /> adopted by reference . <br /> RCW 46 .04 . 531 Semitrailer <br /> RCW 46 .04 .540 Sidewalk <br /> RCW 46 .04 . 550 Solid tire <br /> RCW 46 .04 . 552 Special mobile equipment <br /> Section 48. 46 .04 .556 Stand or standing. "Stand or standing" means <br /> the halting of a vehicle, whether occupied or not, otherwise than <br /> for the purpose of and while actually engaged in receiving or <br /> discharging passengers . <br /> Section 49 . Statute adopted. The following statute is hereby <br /> adopted by reference . <br /> RCW 46 .04 .560 State highway. <br /> Section 50 . 46 .04 . 563 Stop.
