<br /> This is a violation of the Everett Municipal Code Section 8.20.020 (A), (C), (E),and
<br /> (G)which states;
<br /> No person owning, leasing, renting, occupying or having Charge or possession of any
<br /> property in the city, including vacant lots, shall maintain or allow to be maintained on
<br /> such property except as may be allowed by any other city ordinance any of the following
<br /> conditions visible from any public street, alley or other public or private property;
<br /> (A)Junk, trash, litter, boxes, discarded lumber, salvage materials or other
<br /> similar materials in any front yard, side yard, rear yard or vacant lot;
<br /> (C)Broken or discarded furniture, household equipment and furnishings in any front
<br /> yard, side yard, rear yard or vacant lot;
<br /> (E) Dead, decayed, diseased, noxious or hazardous trees, or vegetation or any
<br /> vegetation (not including vegetation located in flower beds)taller than forty-two inches
<br /> high or grass taller than twelve inches in height in any front yard, side yard, rear yard or
<br /> vacant lot;
<br /> (G) Vehicle parts and/or other articles of personal property which are discarded or left
<br /> in a state of partial construction or repair in the front yard, side yard, rear yard or
<br /> vacant lot;
<br /> B. There is exposed wiring in the house,evidence electrical work has been done,and there
<br /> are extension cords running from the house to the garage for the purpose of supplying
<br /> power to the garage. Additionally the cords are partially buried in the yard. This is a
<br /> violation of International Property Maintenance Code Section 604.3 which states;
<br /> Where it is found that the electrical system in a structure constitutes a hazard to the
<br /> occupants or the structure by reason of inadequate service, improper fusing, insufficient
<br /> receptacle and lighting outlets, improper wiring or installation, deterioration or damage,
<br /> or for similar reasons, the code official shall require the defects to be corrected to
<br /> eliminate the hazard.
<br /> C. Alterations to the residence including but not limited to plumbing, electrical and
<br /> structural have been completed without benefit of necessary permits. This is a violation
<br /> of International Residential Code Section R105.1 which states;
<br /> Any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move,
<br /> demolish or change the occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, install,
<br /> enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or replace any electrical,gas, mechanical or
<br /> plumbing systems, the install of which is regulated by this code, or to cause any such a
<br /> work to be done, shall first make application to the building official and obtain the
<br /> required permit.
<br /> D. Doors are equipped with double sided deadbolt locks. This is a violation of
<br /> International Property Maintenance Code Section 704.3 which states;
