. , • <br /> Section 25: <br /> Low voltage control wiring systems, such as 24-volt temperature <br /> control circuits, 12 and 14-volt switching circuits for lighting and power relays <br /> and contactors, and which are not an integral part of a pre—wired device shall <br /> be inspected along with higher voltage circuits, and outlets and devices of such <br /> systems shall be included in the schedule of equipment subject to payment of fees. <br /> Section 26: <br /> It shall be unlawful for any contractor, firm or person, to run temporary <br /> cords or wiring on or across public sidewalks or roadways or any place on <br /> private property where public travel will cross such wiring. <br /> Section 27• <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to place or install, or cause to <br /> allow to be placed or installed, any flood light upon any property that the use <br /> of same will interfere with the safe flow of traffic or cause a blinding effect <br /> upon traffic. It shall also be unlawful to place or install or cause to or <br /> allow to be placed or installed, any colored light of the intermittent or blinking <br /> type that, in any way, would be mistaken for any warning, danger, directional <br /> or traffic control signals. <br /> Section 28: <br /> It shall be unlawful to mount power supplies, amplifiers and such <br /> similar equipment in attics, under buildings or crawl spaces, or mount <br /> such equipment on or around combustible materials. No equipment shall be <br /> mounted or installed in wet or damp locations unless designed for use in <br /> such locations. <br /> Electrical outlets used as a source of supply shall be permanently <br /> installed and placed not more than three feet from equipment being served. <br /> Section 29: <br /> It shall be unlawful for any radio or television receiving or broadcasting <br /> station to erect or install any antenna, mast, tower or counterpoise without <br /> first securing a permit for such installation, and conforming to the requirements <br /> of the National Electrical Code. For each installation the fee shall be $20. 00. <br /> No radio or television receiving or broadcasting station equipment with <br /> an antenna, mast or counterpoise extending over the City street areas, shall be <br /> installed unless approved by the City Electrical Inspector and the City Council. <br /> Permission to install such equipment shall be requested of the City in a formal <br /> written request for approval. The fee shall be $5. 00. <br /> For commercial radio or television transmitting or broadcasting <br /> stations, the fee shall be determined on the basis of the electrical equipment <br /> installed, but in no case shall the fee be less than one-half. <br /> Section 30: ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR - DUTIES, RIGHTS AND POWERS <br /> It shall be the duty of the Electrical Inspector and his authorized <br /> assistants to inspect all television and radio receiving antenna to ascertain if <br /> Page 15 <br />
