• <br /> • <br /> f <br /> between certain hours of any clay and permitted at other hours, in which <br /> event, the same shall be plainly indicated on.the signs, or they may be <br /> removed when such turns are permitted. <br /> Section 11 AUTHORITY TO ERECT STOP SIGNS <br /> Except on such city streets that form a part of the route of a primary or <br /> secondary state highway upon which the state law requires the state highway <br /> • Y <br /> commission to install., operate, maintain and control traffic-control devices, <br /> whenever any ordinance of this city designates and describes an arterial <br /> highway, the Mayor, or his designee, shall place and maintain a stop sign on <br /> each and every city street intersecting such arterial highway or intersection <br /> that portion thereof described and designated as such by any ordinance of <br /> this city. <br /> .Section 12: DESIGN OF "STOP" SIGNS <br /> Every stop sign shall be of the standard design adopted by the State Highway <br /> Commission. <br /> Section 13: INTERSECTIONS WHERE STOP OR YIELD REQUIRED <br /> (a) The Mayor, or his designee, be and hereby is authorized to <br /> determine in the exercise of his discretion those inter- <br /> sections where particular hazard exists upon other than <br /> arterial highways and to further determine (1) whether <br /> vehicles shall stop at one or more entrances to any such <br /> intersection, or (2) whether vehicles shall yield the right- <br /> of-way to vehicles on a different street at such intersection <br /> and he shall designate said intersections. <br /> (b) The Mayor, or his designee, shall place and maintain <br /> (1) a stop sign at every place where a stop is required and <br /> (2) a yield sign at every place where obedience thereto is <br /> required as authorizca herein. • <br /> Section 14: AUTHORITY TO DESIGNATE ANGLE PARKING <br /> (a) The City Council of the City of Everett may, by ordinance, <br /> designate upon what city streets, other than those forming a <br /> part of a primary or secondary state highway, angle parking <br /> shall be permitted. <br /> (b) Whenever any ordinance of this City designates a street for <br /> angle parking, the Mayor, or his designee, in accordance <br /> with said ordinance, shall place and maintain appropriate <br /> devices, marks, or lines upon the surface of the roadwa.y, <br /> or signs indicating said locations where angle parking shall <br /> be permitted. <br />
