Section 9. 13 Window Area: Every cabana shall be provided with one or <br /> • more windows having an aggregate area of not less than one- <br /> fourth (1/4) of the floor area. Windows shall be so arranged <br /> as to properly light all portions of the room; at least one-half <br /> (1/2) of the required window area shall be arranged to open. <br /> No required window shall be less than six square feet (6 sq. ft. ) <br /> in area. <br /> Section 9. 14 Doors: A , least two door openings shall be provided from the <br /> exterior of a cabana. <br /> Section 9. 15 Cooking Prohibited: Cabanas shall be used for casual living <br /> purposes and storage only. Cooking within cabanas shall not <br /> be permitted. Cooking appliances, including hot plates, shall <br /> not be installed in cabanas. <br /> Section 9. 16 No permanent plumbing or private toilet or bath compartment <br /> shall be permitted in any cabana. <br /> Section 9. 17 Manufacturer's or Agent's Responsibility: Manufacturers or <br /> agents of portable or demountable cabanas or other prefabri- <br /> cated structures shall, prior to the erection or construction <br /> of such structures in any mobile home park, submit three (3) <br /> sets of detailed plans and specifications of such structures <br /> and obtain written approval thereof from the Building Inspector. <br /> The Building Inspector shall transmit one set of such approved <br /> plans to the Snohomish Health District Officer and one set to <br /> the City Planning Director. <br /> ARTICLE 10 <br /> CABANA CONSTRUCTION <br /> Section 10. 10 Free-standing Structure. Location. Every cabana shall be <br /> designed and erected as a free-standing structure, and shall <br /> not be peitnanently attached to or become a permanent part <br /> of any mobile home. Mobile homes shall not be a physical part <br /> of any cabana. Cabanas may be attached to a mobile home with <br /> appropriate flashing or sealing materials to provide a weather <br /> seatNo cabana shall be constructed, placed, or maintained <br /> on more than one side of a mobile home. As used herein, "side" <br /> includes end. <br /> Section 10. 11 Protection Against Elements - Floor Required. Every cabana <br /> shall be so constructed and maintained as to provide shelter to <br /> the occupants against the elements and to exclude dampness <br /> in inclement weather. The materials used in the construction <br /> of a cabana shall be of substantial and approved stock. Every <br /> cabana shall have an approved floor of wood, masonry, or <br /> concrete. <br /> - 13- <br />
