Please note that because the seals of a slider are not fully compressed when it is <br /> closed, the performance of a slider is limited regardless of the type and thickness of <br /> the glass. <br /> Therefore, sliding windows are not recommended. <br /> STC 35 Windows: STC 35 (OITC 28) windows are usually achieved with the following <br /> glazing assembly:%" Glass - %"airspace -3/16" glass. <br /> STC 32 Windows: STC 32 (OITC 28) windows are usually achieved with the following <br /> glazing assembly: X" Glass - W'air space - 1/8" glass. <br /> Notes: <br /> • Windows are required to have a fixed sash or an efficiently weather-stripped, <br /> operable sash. The sash shall be rigid and weather-stripped with material that is <br /> compressed airtight when the window is closed, so as to conform to an infiltration <br /> rate not to exceed 0.5 cubic foot per minute per foot of crack length in accordance <br /> with ASTM E-283-65-T. <br /> • Glass shall be sealed in an airtight manner with a non-hardening sealant or a soft <br /> elastomeric gasket or gasket tape. <br /> • The perimeter of window and door frames shall be sealed airtight to the exterior <br /> wall construction with a sealant conforming to one of the following Federal <br /> specifications: TT-S-00227, TT-S-00230 or TT-S-00153. <br /> • Thru-wall ventilator with interior sound-reduction cover is approved on all the <br /> facades. <br /> Geological / Soil Suitability/ Slope / Erosion / Drainage /Storm Water Runoff <br /> Mitigation <br /> All recommendations provided on pages 3 through 16 of the 7/12/17 Geotechnical <br /> Engineering Study will be followed during design and construction. Additionally, all <br /> grading/fill mitigation included in the City of Everett's Mitigated Determination of Non- <br /> Significance will be incorporated into the design. All design, construction, and bid <br /> documents containing the mitigation requirements will be provided to the City of Everett <br /> Housing and Community Development Program Manager for review and approval prior to <br /> publishing for any contractor or subcontractor bids. Written documentation indicating <br /> compliance with each of the stated recommendations will be provided to the City of Everett <br /> Housing and Community Development Program Manager in a timely manner during <br /> construction. <br /> Transportation Mitigation <br /> All transportation mitigation included in the City of Everett's Mitigated Determination of <br /> Non-Significance will be incorporated into the project design.
