July 31, 2019 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., <br /> July 31, 2019, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. Moore Historic City <br /> Hall, Council President Bader presiding. Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor <br /> Franklin and Council Members Roberts, Murphy, Vogeli, Bader, Stonecipher, and <br /> Tuohy were present. Council Member Moore was excused. <br /> Ella, Everett, led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the July 24, 2019, City Council meeting were approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Murphy provided a liaison report from his attendance at the <br /> meeting of the Public Facilities District Board (PFD). He also commented about <br /> problems with crosswalks and sidewalk connections elicited during a walkabout <br /> of the Delta Neighborhood, and he stated he would work with city staff. Council <br /> Member Murphy announced the Budget Subcommittee is scheduled to meet on <br /> Wednesday, August 7, at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers. <br /> Council Member Vogeli commented on her attendance at the Alliance for Housing <br /> Affordability commission meeting and stated that she was recently appointed to <br /> the Alliance for Housing Affordability Joint Policy Board. <br /> Council Member Roberts thanked Council Member Murphy for his observations in <br /> the Delta Neighborhood and stated he felt there were opportunities for <br /> improvement in that area. He also announced the General Government <br /> Subcommittee would tentatively meet on August 14 or August 21. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher announced that the Public Safety Subcommittee is <br /> currently scheduled to meet on August 14. <br /> 226 <br />
