. . 0. <br /> • • . <br /> • <br /> tet • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 4342 <br /> AN ORDINANCE annexing certain property of the City of Everett, and declaring <br /> an emergency to exist. <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C.W. 35 .13.130, a petition was presented to the <br /> City Council of the City of Everett proposing the annexation of certain <br /> property, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett did approve the filing of a petition for <br /> annexation and thereafter a petition pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.130 signed <br /> by owners of not less than seventy-five per cent in value according to the <br /> assessed valuation for general taxes of the property proposed to be <br /> annexed was filed with the City of Everett, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Review Board provided by R.C.W. 35 .13.171 has approved said <br /> annexation, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, <br /> did fix the 26th day of November, 1968, for hearing upon said petition and caused <br /> notice of hearing to be published in one issue of the Everett Daily Herald, <br /> a newspaper of general circulation in the city, and caused said notice also <br /> to be posted in three places within the territory proposed for annexation, <br /> which notice as published and as posted specified the time and place of hearing <br /> and invited interested persons to appear and voice approval or disapproval of <br /> the annexation, and <br /> WHEREAS, following the hearing the Commissioners of Everett, a municipal <br /> corporation, have determined to annex all of the property described in the <br /> petition as hereinafter set forth, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance <br /> shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> Section 2: That the property hereinafter described be, and the same is hereby <br /> annexed to the City of Everett upon the date of the passage and publication <br /> of this ordinance. <br /> That portion of Section 19 and Section 30, Township 28 North, Range 5 East W.M. <br /> described as follows: <br /> Beginning on the Southerly R/W line of Stockshow Road (112th Street) and the <br /> Easterly line of the NW 1/4 SE 1/4 of said Section 19; thence Southerly along <br /> Easterly line of the Northeast corner of Government Lot 5, being the Northwest <br /> Corner of Plat of Ibberson Park; thence continue Southerly along the Easterly <br /> line of Government Lot 5 to themeander line of Government Lot 5; thence continue <br /> on the same bearing Southerly, to intersect the Southerly line, of shorelands <br /> of the Second Class; thence continue Southwesterly along the Southerly and <br /> Easterly line of shorelands of the Second Class to the North plat line of the <br /> Plat of Silver Lake Drive extended Easterly; thence Westerly along the North <br /> plat line of the Plat of Silver Lake Drive to the Easterly R/W line of Silver <br /> Lake Drive; thence Southeasterly along the Easterly R/W line of Silverlake <br /> Drive to the Southerly R/W line of Nels Peters Road; thence Westerly along the <br /> Southerly R/W line of Nels Peters Road to intersect the Southerly R/W line of <br /> Peters Place; thence Northwesterly along the Southerly R/W line of Peters Place <br /> extended to the Westerly R/W line of P. U. D. No. l(Puget Sound Power & Light <br /> Company ,,R/W) thence Northeasterly along the Westerly R/W line of P.U. D. No. 1 <br />
