The purpose of this visit was to analyze the suitability of the <br /> sprinkler system in the existing warehouse as it relates to the desired rack storage. <br /> EXISTING SPRINKLER SYSTEM SURVEY <br /> The location for the new rack storage is a fully sprinldered existing warehouse located at <br /> 2310 36th St Everett WA.The existing system consists of 8"D.I.underground piping and <br /> a 8"backflow in an exterior vault.The stn riser is 6"and includes a 6"Gem alarm <br /> valve.The system reduces to 4"near the top of the riser.The existing system is gridded <br /> with 4"live and dead mains and 1 %"grid tracts running between them,The existing <br /> breach lines are spaced at 10'with an existing head spacing of 10'.The existing spacing <br /> of the sl rinklers is 100 sq.ft.The existing sprinkler heads are 286 deg.,brass,bulb type <br /> slrtinklers menu actsu�ed by Viking in 1986.The existing springs have an orifice size of <br /> 17132"and a 314"thread size.The existing sprinklers have a IC factor of S.Q. The existing <br /> gauge showed a static pressure of 92 psi.The existing riser pressure gauge showed 140 <br /> PSI ofpressure.The existing system is calculated to provide.345 GPM over the most <br /> demanding 2500 sq. ft.The site conditions above were witnessed during the survey and <br /> confirmed by the existing sprinkler drawings provided by the city of Everett <br />
