Metered water accounts: <br /> 1. Where service is to a single family dwelling, <br /> �L <br /> 6multiple family dwelling, duplex, triplex, etc. , <br /> 1. <br /> apartment house, the rate for sewer service shall <br /> 7 ' be two dollars and twenty-five cents per month for <br /> the first living unit, plus two dollars per month <br /> 8 '' for each additional living unit. (A living unit <br /> is defined as one or more habitable rooms which <br /> are occupied, rented, hired out to be occupied, <br /> 10 ! or intended to be occupied by one family consist <br /> ing of one or more persons for living, sleeping, <br /> 11'' and eating.) <br /> 12 '.; <br /> 2 . All motels, hotels, lodging houses and board- <br /> ; <br /> 13t ing houses shall be charged as provided in Sec- <br /> tion I B 3. If for any reason a meter is not <br /> 14i1 installed to the premises, the owner shall pay on <br /> the same basis as a multiple family dwelling. <br /> 15 <br /> 3. For all other accounts served through a city, <br /> 16i water meter, the rate for sewerage service shall <br /> 17 be two dollars and fifty cents per month for the <br /> first one thousand cubic feet of water or any <br /> 18 part thereof measured through the water meter per <br /> month, plus twenty cents per each additional one <br /> 19 I hundred cubic feet of water measured through the <br /> water meter during the same monthly period. <br /> 20 <br /> 2i. <br /> In the event a city approved water or sewage metering <br /> device shall be installed by the person in control at his expense <br /> 22 as provided in Everett City Code Section 14.12 .030, the monthly <br /> sewerage service charge shall be two dollars and fifty cents for <br /> 23 the first one thousand cubic feet of water and/or sewage measured <br /> 24 through said special meter per month, plus twenty cents for each <br /> additional one hundred cubic feet of water (and/or sewage) <br /> 25 measured through the special meter during the same month. <br /> 26 ' In the event there is no reasonable way to accurately <br /> determine the amount of water being returned to the sewerage system, <br /> 271 then an agreement may be made providing that the consumer shall <br /> 28 be charged a minimum monthly sewerage service charge of two dollars <br /> and fifty cents basic minimum for an allowance of up to one thou- <br /> 29 sand cubic feet per month of water or sewerage plus twenty cents <br /> per each additional one hundred cubic feet of water or sewage <br /> 30i computed by the following formula: one hundred cubic feet per <br /> month times the number of employees, students, inmates, or such <br /> 31 described individual making use of or employed at the facility to <br /> which the city is providing sewerage service.
