Please review and <br /> respond to the comments below. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br /> Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections <br /> requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. <br /> General <br /> 1. A listing for the one-hour walls should be provided. IEBC Section 603.1 <br /> 2. A listing for the one-hour floor/ceiling assembly between the upper and lower floors <br /> should be provided. IEBC Section 603.1 <br /> 3. Duct penetrations through a one-hour floor/ceiling assembly should be provided with <br /> ceiling radiation dampers or a shaft. IBC Section 717.6.2 <br /> 4. A manual fire alarm system should be provided for the building if the project does not <br /> fall under an exception provided under IFC Section 1103.7.6 <br /> 5. The locations of smoke alarms within the repaired units should be shown on the plans. <br /> The alarms should be hardwired, interconnected and provided with battery backup.
