<br /> Christy Shelton, as principal, brings 24 years of experience managing the development,
<br /> analysis,evaluation, and performance of effective plans and programs for sustainability,
<br /> tit climate action, and resource conservation.She has conducted strategic planning,GHG
<br /> inventories, program evaluation, research, and facilitation projects for cities, counties,states,
<br /> and other public agencies.As Principal, Christy provides strategic guidance, oversight, and
<br /> review to ensure high-quality deliverables and project performance. She has led or advised
<br /> local climate action and sustainability projects for cities including Shoreline,Seattle,
<br /> Mountlake Terrace, Bellevue,Auburn, Renton,and Tacoma.She manages a$2.55-million on-
<br /> •
<br /> ,, ' call contract with Sound Transit to integrate sustainability measures into operations and
<br /> capital projects,including an annual inventory of GHG emissions and resource use,
<br /> sustainability plan updates, and a climate adaptation plan.She earned a B.A. (honors)from Stanford University and
<br /> M.S.from Michigan's School for Environment and Sustainability. Christy will provide management oversight and
<br /> high-level review of major deliverables.
<br /> Andrea Martin I Strategic Advisor
<br /> Andrea brings over a decade of expertise drawing on the best available science to inform
<br /> 12 thoughtful and action-ready climate action plans. Her work includes leading the development
<br /> * of several communitywide climate action plans—including for Ashland (OR), Flagstaff(AZ),
<br /> Columbia (MO), and Albany(CA)—which involve technical GHG analysis, committee meeting
<br /> t. ‘?"5 facilitation, public workshop planning and execution, and plan development. Prior to joining
<br /> V. Cascadia,Andrea focused on carbon offset accounting and policy at the Nicholas Institute for
<br /> 1;4 - Environmental Policy Solutions in Durham, NC,where her work included research on the
<br /> climate impacts and sequestration potential of wetland and forest ecosystem services at the
<br /> Smithsonian Environmental Research Center.Andrea holds a B.S. in Biology from the
<br /> University of North Carolina and a Master of Environmental Management degree from Duke
<br /> University.Andrea will oversee and provide strategic advice for various aspects of the project.
<br /> Emily Wright I Writing Support
<br /> Emily has been working in environmental planning, policy, and management for over 10
<br /> years,specializing in coastal ecosystems and communities.She brings a systems-thinking and
<br /> human-centered approach to her work in strategic and climate action planning to help clients
<br /> build resilience across sectors. Her recent work includes the Floodplains by Design initiative's
<br /> five-year strategic plan,climate vulnerability assessments and action plans for multiple Pacific
<br /> Northwest tribes, and sustainability monitoring and reporting for the Los Angeles County
<br /> Metro. Prior to joining Cascadia, Emily led strategic planning for a wetland preserve co-
<br /> managed by The Wetlands Conservancy and a local non-profit to achieve habitat, biodiversity,
<br /> and community engagement goals.Emily will provide writing assistance for all tasks.
