3. Tne impact of trafCc generated by the proposed use on the surrounding area,
pedestrian circulation and public safety; and the aUility of the proponent to mitigate
such potential impacts.
Finding: The proposal may generate som minimal [raffic associated with the initial
ins[allation and set-up. However, once [he facility is opernting, no on-going traffic will
be generated, odier than an occasiona] maintenance visit.
Conclusion: There will be no adverse traffic impacts generated by the proposal.
4. The provision of adequate off-street parking, on-site circulation, and si:.e access.
Tinding: No permanent on-site parhing is required for the proposal.
Conclusion: Not applicable.
5. Compatibility of proposed structures and improvements with surrounding
properties, including the size, height, location, setback and arrangement of all
proposed buildings and facilities, especially as they relate to light and shadow
impacts on more sensitive land uses and less intensive zones.
Tinding: The components associated with the proposal will be erected on the roof of an
existing, 2-story office building. The suirounding area is developed with mainly office
and commercial uses. Tne antennas would be approximately five feet liigh by six inches
wide. Due ro their plcement on the roof of the building, the antennas would be
somewhat visible from the syrrounding properties to the noRh and south of the .,ubject
properties. There are nvo existing wireless installations on the roof operated by Quest
and Metricom at present. The existing antennas are located near the parapet wall and,
consequently, are quite visible from the surrounding area. The proposed antennas would
be located within the interior portion of the roof and would be somewhat less visible than
the existing an[ennas.
Conclusion: In order to minimize visual impacts on surrounding properties, the antennas
must be painted to match the color of the building exterior. The muunting brackets
should be a single-mast type, as shown in the plans on file at the Planning/Community
Development Department.
G. The number, size and location of signs, especially as they relate to more sensitive
Iand uses.
Tinding: No signaee is proposed.
Concfusion: Not applicable.
5
