1 ORDINANCE NO. LX . <br /> 2 AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as <br /> provided by Ordinance No. 3572 of the City of Everett, also known <br /> 3 as Everett City Code 15 .04.040 entitled: "An Ordinance regulating <br /> and restricting the location and use of building and land within <br /> 4 the City of Everett; limiting the height of buildings; prescribing <br /> building lines and size of yard and other open spaces; provid- <br /> e 5 ing for the division of the City into use zones; creating a Board <br /> of Adjustments; and providing for penalties for violation of the <br /> 6 Ordinance . " <br /> H 7 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, upon <br /> 8 the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of <br /> Everett, has determined the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use should <br /> 9 be amended; that the area hereinafter described should be rezoned <br /> and such rezoning will be in harmony with the Comprehensive Plan <br /> 10 of Land Use for the City of Everett . <br /> 11 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 12 SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Everett <br /> does hereby find that the changes hereinafter set fotth are for <br /> 13 the best interests of the City of Everett, and do hereby amend the <br /> Comprehensive Plan of Land Use of the City of Everett to provide <br /> 14 for the changes as hereinafter set forth. <br /> 15 SECTION 2: That the zone map of the City of Everett, <br /> as established by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572, also known as <br /> 16 Everett City Code 15 .04.040 is hereby amended as follows: <br /> 17 Beginning at the NE corner of Lot 1, Block 261, Plat <br /> 18 of Everett Division "0", the T.P.O.B. ; thence northerly <br /> along the West property line of the Great Northern <br /> Railway R/W to the south line of the Plat of Weyer- <br /> 19 haeuser Timber Company Parcel "E"; thence easterly along <br /> 20 the south property line of said Plat of Weyerhaeuser <br /> Timber Company Parcel "E" to the SE corner of said Parcel <br /> "E"; thence Nly along the east line of said Plat of Weye' - <br /> 21 haeuser Timber Company Parcel "E" to the north line of <br /> Section 17, Township 29 North, Range 5 EWM; thence west- <br /> 22 erly along the north line of said Section 17 to the east <br /> 23 line of the Plat of Grandview Homes; thence southeasterl4 <br /> along the easterly line of said Plat of Grandview Homes <br /> to an intersection with the west boundary line of Maple <br /> 24 Street; thence southerly along the west boundary line of <br /> Maple Street to an intersection with the centerline of <br /> 25 9th Street; thence easterly along the centerline of 9th <br /> Street to an intersection with the centerline of Walnut; <br /> 26 thence southerly along the centerline of Walnut to an , <br /> intersection with the south line of lith Street; thence <br /> 27 easterly along the south line of 11th Street to the <br /> northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 261, Plat of Everett <br /> 28 Division "0" and the T.P.O.B. <br /> 29 be rezoned from R-2, Single-Family High-Density Residence Zone to <br /> 30 R-4, Multiple-Family High-Density Residence Zone; and, <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br /> OFFICIAL RECORDS' <br /> von 111 40E588 <br />
