								    								ORDINANCE NO.     4112
<br />       			AN  ORDINANCE of the City of Everett,  Washington,  amending
<br />       				Section 2 of Ordinance No.  4057 of the city,  passed and
<br />       				approved November 13,  1964;  amending Sections  1 and 2
<br />       				of Ordinance No.  4080 of the city,  passed and approved
<br />       				April 6,  1965;  and declaring an emergency.
<br />       			THE  CITY  OF  EVERETT  DOES  ORDAIN:
<br />				Section 1.    That Section 2 of Ordinance No.  4057 of the City of Everett,
<br />   		Washington,  be  and  the  same  is  hereby amended  to  read  as  follows:
<br />    				"Section 2.   The estimated cost of acquiring,  constructing and
<br />				installing the above-described additions and improvements to the
<br />       			water supply and distribution system of the City is hereby declared
<br />       			to be,  as near as may be,  the sum of $12, 000, 000,  which cost shall
<br />       			be provided from the sale of water revenue bonds of the City in the
<br />				principal sum of $12, 000, 000.
<br />   				As an integral part of the plan for acquiring,  constructing and
<br />				installing the above-described additions and improvements to such
<br />				system the City shall issue and sell such water revenue bonds in
<br />				such amount or amounts and at such time or times as the Council
<br />       			may determine to be to the best interest of the City.   The exact date
<br />       			or dates,  form,  terms,maturities and covenants of such bonds shall
<br />       			be as hereafter fixed by ordinance or ordinances of the City. "
<br />				Section 2.    That Section 1 of Ordinance No.  4080 of the City of Everett,
<br />   		Washington,   (which section amends Section 1 of Ordinance No.  4057 of the city)
<br />  		be  and the  same  is  hereby  amended  to  read  as follows:
<br />    				"Section 1.    The following plan for the acquisition,  construction,
<br />				and installation of additions and improvements to the water supply
<br />       			and distribution system of the City is hereby specified and adopted,
<br />       			to wit:
<br />       				The City shall acquire,  construct and install the following:
<br />       				A water transmission line to be known as Pipe Line No.  5,
<br />       				being 51 inches in diameter,  constructed of steel with coal
<br />       				tar enamel protective coatings,  complete with valves,  fittings
<br />       				and appurtenances beginning at the southerly tip of LAKE
<br />       				CHAPLAIN located in the NE 1/4 of Sec.  6,  Twp.  28 N,  R.  8
<br />       				E.W.M. ;  thence along and adjacent to the City's existing
<br />					pipeline No.  1 through the SE 1/4 of said Sec.  6,  Twp.  28 N.,
<br />       				R 8,  E.W.M. ;  the westerly 1/2 of Sec. 's 8 and 17,  Twp.  28 N.,
<br />       				R 8 E. W.M. ;  the SE 1/4 of Sec.  18,  Twp.  28 N. ,  R.  8 E. W.M. ;
<br />       				the northerly 1/2 of Sec.  19,  Twp.  28 N. ,  R.  8 E. W.M. ;  the
<br />       				northerly 1/2's of Sec. 's 19 through 24,  Twp.  28 N.,  R.  7
<br />       				E.W.M. ;  the N.E.  1/4 of Sec.  24,  Twp.  28 N. ,  R.  6 E. W.M. ;
<br />       				the S.  E. ,  S.  W. ,  and N.  W.  1/4's of Sec.  13,  Twp.  28 N. ,  R.  6
