1 l ORDINANCE NO. 3932. AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of: BROADWAY from 39th Street to its intersection with U. S. Highway 99 North, north of 12th Street, by the installation of a Mercury Vapor Street Electric Lighting System. Said system to include new aluminum poles on concrete foundations and under- ground wiring, and including all incidental material and work necessary for a complete improvement, and U. S. HIGHWAY 99 NORTH from Broadway to the existing street lights on the Walnut Street interchange by the installation of a Mercury Vapor Street Electric Lighting System. Said system to include new aluminum poles on concrete foundations and under- ; ground wiring, and including all incidental material and work necessary for a complete improvement, all in accordance with plans prepared by the City Engineer. All ! in accordance with Resolution No. 6497 of the City of Everett; 1 creating a local improvement district; creating a local improve- ' ment district fund therefor; providing for the payment of said improvement by the City of Everett and by special assessment on the property in said district under the mode of payment by bonds . WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 6497 of the City of Everett, , the City Council has declared its intention to order the improve- , ment as above outlined and doing all work in connection therewith F to make a complete improvement in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer of the City of Everett. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That an improvement be made of: BROADWAY from 39th Street to its intersection with U. S. Highway 99 North, north of 12th Street, by the installation of a Mercury Vapor Street Electric Lighting System. Said system to include new al- . uminum poles on concrete foundations and under- ground wiring, and including all incidental material and work necessary for a complete improvement, and U. S. HIGHWAY 99 NORTH from Broadway to the exist- ing street lights on the Walnut Street interchange by the installation of a Mercury Vapor Street Electric Lighting System. Said system to include new al- uminum poles on concrete foundations and underground wiring, and including all incidental material and work necessary for a complete improvement, all in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer and which plans and specifications are adopted and approved. Section 2: The cost and expenses of such improvement, including all necessary incidental expenses, shall be paid as follows : The property lying within the district shall be assessed and shall pay for 500 of the final costs of the improvement, but in no event shall the property therein be charged more than $115.00 for each 25 feet of accessible frontage based on a rectangular lot with a frontage of 25 feet and the depth of 120 feet . All of the remaining costs of the improvement shall be paid
