Upon <br /> roll call it was found that Mayor Kinch and all councilmen were <br /> present. <br /> The minutes of the March 6, 1991 meeting mmre approved as <br /> printed. <br /> • MAI.,COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Kinch passed out postcards picturing the City of Everett <br /> with a message saluting the Desert Storm troops on a job well <br /> C All <br /> done. The postcards will be available at City Hall and City <br /> Hall In The Mall for anyone wishing to send them. <br /> Piul Roberts, Planning, introduced Marylou Block who has been <br /> hired as the City.s new Assistant Planning and Community <br /> Development Director. <br /> =requested an executive session on a real estate <br /> Mayor Kinch presented certificates of achievement in financial <br /> reporting to Beverley Schirman, Cherie Cornish, Mickey <br /> Mansfield, Byron Viler, and Janet Love. Bill Cushman was <br /> presented a plaque. This is the 6th consecutive year for <br /> receiving this award,an accomplishment to be proud of. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> 2="Le%!:',YlitInon'fignncea% Washington Eg7't,!,'1: <br /> • Past week. <br /> Councilman Overstreet reported that he spent a day with Joel <br /> Baker, ICMA, and viewed a video on future planning that he <br /> would like to show at the next Council retreat. <br /> Councilman Moser announced that The Everett Center for the Arts <br /> will have a Grand Opening March 22 from 5 p.m. until B p.m. <br /> Councilmembers have been invited to be greeters. This peat <br /> week he attended a Puget Sound Regional Council organizational <br /> • meeting. Time is of the essence in finalizing the <br /> reorganization of this committee'for funding purposes. <br />
