Open roll <br /> call it was found that Mayor Kinch ed all councilmen w rg <br /> present except Councilman Pope who was used. <br /> The nted.minutesCouncof ilmhe tOctober 30, 1991 elingxam[hevote.apw proved a <br /> en Anderson abstained Pme <br /> C5 MAYOR'S COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Kinch announced that Everett City Hall at the Mall has <br /> receivedrecognition from the American Cities and Towns <br /> publication. <br /> APPOINTMENT <br /> Mayor Kinch ended that Council appoint Pastor Charlie <br /> Jackson to the Everett Housing Authority Boaxtl. <br /> Moved by Councilmen Gipson, seconded by Councilmen Overstreet to <br /> concur with the appointment of Pastor Charlie Jackson to the <br /> C�• Everett Housing Authority Board. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except Councilman <br /> Pope who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> EVERETT 2000 REPORT <br /> Jan Mahlum related that the Everett 2000 committee w comprised <br /> of 16 citizens appointed by the Mayor for the purpose of <br /> adopting a vision for Everett•s future. Jan praised the <br /> committee members and staff for their great participation. She <br /> stated that thie is a unique report in that it deals with',whet <br /> ifs., The final report will be available in summary form as <br /> well as in total to the public. <br /> RECOGNITION <br /> Charlie Soverns,Safety, recognized Carl Shockley, Parka,for an <br /> innovative idea, a tractor step. Nr. Soverns related that it <br /> would be an asset to the City from a safety point of view. <br /> C <br />
