• <br /> 0 671 <br /> December 11,1991 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to <br /> order at8:30 <br /> 11, 1991, in the City Council <br /> Chambers ofthe Everett December <br /> ettCity Hall, President Morrow presiding. • <br /> Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Kinch and all councilmen <br /> were present except Councilmen Anderson, Gipson and Overstreet <br /> who were excused. <br /> The minutes of the November 27, 1991 and December 4, 1991 City <br /> Council meetings will be approved December 18,1991 for lack of <br /> a quorum today. - <br /> MAYORS COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Kinch informed c ncilmembers that he had presented a <br /> plaque to Cascade High oSchool in recognition of their success <br /> in winning the State championship for football. He commented <br /> that they a certainly an impressive group of young people•and <br /> that they were very appreciative of the City,support. <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Kinch presented a proclamation to Roy Yates,President of <br /> the Everett School Board, proclaiming December 14 the beginning <br /> of a centennial celebration of the Everett School District. <br /> Roy Yates accepted the proclamation and thanked the City for <br /> their support. <br /> PRESENTATION <br /> Regina and July Hyatt, members of the Neighbor to Neighbor <br /> group presented the City with a tile painting depicting the <br /> homecoming of the soldiers from Desert Storm. The artwork was <br /> created by Regina. <br /> AWARDS <br /> Carl Baird, Water Pollution Control Facility, recognized Julie <br /> Sklare, Matt Christie, Mike Anderson, and Keith Roraback for <br /> eMieving their operator Group I ertificates.
